Music and poetry have a lot in common. But it’s hard to say what. What are those words, the ones hidden in the staff when you play the flute, the violin, the viola d’arco or the cello? And when they all play together? ‘One, two, three…’, how many sharps are there in a poem by Fernando Pessoa? What would the eighth note say in Eugénio de Andrade’s ‘make believe’? So many questions! The poet Sidónio Muralha told us about rhythm, a sense of humour, playing, fitting things together, creating… Maybe it’s a bit of all that, and much more!
