Legend has it that Beethoven is said to have remarked something along these lines: ‘In life, we must fight against fate when it comes knocking at the door.’ The first four notes of the Fifth Symphony immediately spring to mind. And we realise that not everything is sad, not everything is fado: revolution is possible. In itself, music carries no slogans or catchphrases, but it does, at times, possess a power that lends itself to visionary interpretations… Revolution happens when a way of life is transformed through non-conformity and an immense willingness to envision and bring about change. Thus, inspired by our 25 April, Metropolitana and the audiovisual duo Boris Chimp 504 will take to the Main Hall of the Tivoli BBVA Theatre on this day to present a multisensory experience intended to be transformative.
