Learning outcomes

– Acquire the ability to write in different languages and styles.
– Develop the ability to harmonize tonal melodies.
– Acquire knowledge of counterpoint.
– Develop the ability to use atonal writing techniques.

Syllabus

– Harmonization to 4 voices and instrumental accompaniment of tonal melodies in the Baroque, Classic and Romantic style.
– Counterpoint of species exercises and counterpoint in the various styles.
– Exercises to develop atonal writing techniques.

Teaching methodologies

– Practical classes based on the correction of the work done by the student and his specific needs in technical terms.
– Each class may have an expository component if it is necessary to study matters related to the practical work.
