Legend has it that Beethoven is said to have remarked something along these lines: ‘In life, we must fight against fate when it comes knocking at the door.’ The first four notes of the Fifth Symphony immediately spring to mind. And we realise that not everything is sad, not everything is fado: revolution is possible. In itself, music carries neither slogans nor rallying cries, but it does, at times, possess a power that lends itself to visionary interpretations… Revolution occurs when a way of life is transformed through non-conformity and an immense willingness to envision and bring about change. Thus, inspired by our 25 April, the Metropolitana and the audiovisual duo Boris Chimp 504 will take to the stage on this day in the Main Auditorium of the Tivoli BBVA Theatre to present a multisensory experience intended to be transformative.
