Metropolitana, founded in 1992, has developed a project that is unique in Portugal and very rare on the international scene. It is based on a transversal approach, combining specialised education with the practice of music. An orchestra (OML) and three schools (Conservatoire, Professional School and a National Academy of Advanced Orchestral Studies) make up this musical project of excellence, which has educated hundreds of professional musicians.
Metropolitana‘s daily life is characterised by the coexistence of different generations in the same building (its headquarters, housed in the former Standard Eléctrica building in Lisbon), with the inherent energy of intense musical sharing between students, teachers, professional musicians and administrative staff.
In order for this project to consolidate and grow, the activity they all carry out is not enough. The music we make is aimed at the public. Without them, our mission would be incomplete; with them, we can do even more.

> 30% discount on the purchase of tickets for Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa (OML) concerts at the Belém Cultural Centre.

> 30% discount on the purchase of tickets for Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa (OML) concerts at the Tivoli BBVA Theatre. The purchase must be made on presentation of the Friends of the Metropolitan Card at the Theatre Ticket Office.

HOW TO JOIN
The Friends of Metropolitana Card can be purchased at Ticketline.pt and usual places, at Metropolitana’s Head Office (Treasury) or by bank transfer to IBAN PT50.0033.0000.00100615870.05.
Then simply send proof of payment to relacoespublicas@metropolitana.pt.
If you buy your card through Ticketline.pt, you must exchange your ticket for the Friends of Metropolitana card on the day and at the venue of the first concert of the 2023/2024 season you wish to attend or at the Metropolitana headquarters.
Tickets for concerts at the Centro Cultural de Belém must be booked/purchased directly through the CCB box office (213 612 627 or bilheteiraccb@ccb.pt).
The code on the back of your card gives you access to discounts when you buy tickets online at www.ticketline.pt.

NOTES:
The Friends of Metropolitana Card is personal and non-transferable and must be presented in order to access the benefits granted.
In order to issue and use the card, an ID must be presented.
The benefits of the Friends of Metropolitana Card cannot be combined with any other type of card and are exclusive to the cardholder.
The Friends of Metropolitana Card and its benefits are valid for the season from September 2023 to July 2024.
