The Metropolitana’s Wind Orchestra, conducted by  Reinaldo Guerreiro, challenges itself in programs that show the public the quality of its young performers. The sonorities span several periods and different genres, making each concert a true celebration of music.

This training is based at the Metropolitana’s Professional School (EPM), whose creation has overcome a long felt need in this artistic area. The EPM provides a pedagogical program that joins specific music subjects with all the others necessary for a university application and/or immediate access to the labor market.

As an unprecedented feature on the national level, EPM students have the advantage of doing professional-level work with the different Metropolitana groupings. The ensemble has played on some of the most important national stages, earning both critical and public praise.
