The Orquestra de Sopros da Metropolitana challenges itself with programs that showcase the quality of its young performers. The soundscapes span various periods and genres, making each concert a true celebration of music.

This ensemble is based at the Escola Profissional Metropolitana (EPM), whose establishment addressed a long-felt need in this artistic field. EPM offers a pedagogical program that combines specific music subjects with all other disciplines required for university admission and/or immediate entry into the job market.

As an unprecedented feature at the national level, EPM students benefit from professional-level training in a real work environment with the various groups of AMEC/Metropolitana. This training has reached some of the most important national stages, earning praise from both critics and audiences alike.
