With a growing demand from young people – from all over the country – for the Music Degree at the National Superior Academy of Orchestra (ANSO), Metropolitana has created Admission Scholarships that “aim to attract young talent for the first year of the degree”, explains Metropolitana’s Pedagogical Director.
“The scholarships are awarded on the basis of both technical and artistic quality and the economic situation of the student and their household,” emphasises Yan Mikirtumov. The idea is that less financial capacity doesn’t lead to undesirable social injustice in access to higher education. This is where the Millennium bcp Foundation comes in, “whose support and strategic vision are fundamental to this process”, concludes the Director.
For the 2023/2024 academic year, scholarships will be awarded for Horn, Trumpet and Cello, amounting €6,375.
