Information and Communication Technologies
He teaches Information and Communication Technologies (ICT / Musical Informatics) at EPM Metropolitana and is a lecturer at Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon) in the areas of music and audio production. He is also a research member at CIC Digital / CICANT. He holds a degree in Musical Sciences from FCSH of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a master’s degree in Multimedia Communication from Universidade Aberta. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis in Media Arts at Universidade Lusófona. Until 2017, he held teaching positions at Universidade de Aveiro in the undergraduate programs in Music and New Communication Technologies.
He is an official AVID Technology Instructor (ACI-Pro Tools), having received training at Avid (EMEA) Pinewood Studios (London) and at Edinburgh Napier University (Edinburgh). As a professional musician, he has worked with Armindo Neves, Paulo de Carvalho, Carlos do Carmo, Rita Guerra, Cristina Nóbrega (with José Luís Tinoco), and Carlos Barreto. He has recorded with Armando Teixeira (Balla), Family, Sam and Olavo Bilac (Santos e Pecadores), António Mardel (with Rui Veloso), and Pluma. He is a composer and sound designer for television content for RTP, TVI, SIC Notícias, TVCine, MOV HD, and other content for ZON/NOS.
