Tickets for saleIn 2010, the Metropolitana launched a challenge to Alice Vieira and Eurico Carrapatoso. Thus was born A Short Musical Tale, in which the words that the writer put together in the story Treasure Chest are in dialogue with the orchestra. It is the story of Maria and her blue box, an emotional reflection on this thing of “clocks ruling everyone”. The project then resulted in a book/CD published by Editorial Caminho – Grupo Leya with illustrations by João Fazenda. Now it returns to the stage, always with OML, but this time in the voice of José Teixeira, violinist of the orchestra, who brings with him a second story about a tree that liked to receive affection – who doesn’t?! In this concert of Estórias Com Música we also have the opportunity to listen to Haydn’s Symphony No. 94, which reserves the expectation of an unexpected sound effect that justifies its name. Surprise!
