Tickets for saleMUSICAR is a Metropolitana project supported by MusicAIRE, an action co-financed by the European Union to support the music industry. Started in February 2023, it set out to contribute over 10 months to full access to the arts for people who are blind or have low vision and people who are deaf, by promoting the teaching of music theory and ensemble music practice. With an exploratory nature, it tested teaching and learning methods in training sessions for teachers, instrumental workshops and theoretical classes. It all culminates in this Final Concert, where two musicians who inspire good practice are invited. Conductor Adrian Rincón and pianist Jorge Gonçalves perform Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, respectively, with the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa. They are joined by the Mãos Que Cantam Choir, the musicians of the Enarmonia Philharmonic and all the participants in the project.
