Over the course of its 30 years, it has changed the cultural panorama in Portugal, with many of its students going on to enter the most demanding international teaching and training institutions. The most awarded national school in this area, the new generations of performers and musical directors it launches are recognised for their quality. Chamber music is one of the fundamental aspects of the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra, which presents the Jovens Solitas da Metropolitana (Metropolitana’s Young Soloists) cycle every year.
