The Metropolitana’s Junior Orchestra (OJM) was born with the creation of the Basic Instrument Course of the Metropolitana’s Professional School and intends to develop the irrefutable skills of working in an orchestra from the youngest ages.

The development of pedagogical methods and structures that focus on teamwork stems from the need to prepare students for a future life of work in the musical world, in which the ability to work in groups is evident as a core competence.

Given the age range in which these students are between 12 and 15, OJM presents repertoires meticulously chosen by teachers Tatiana Leonor and Reinaldo Guerreiro, always with the objective of being pedagogically stimulating and appealing.
