Born in Porto, he began his musical studies in a family environment, continuing at the Castelo de Paiva Music Academy and later at the Porto Conservatory of Music, where he finished the complementary course with the highest classification, in the Flute class of Professor Luís Meireles
Later, he entered the Superior National Academy of Orchestra, where he completed his degree, having studied with professors Tristan Hayoz, Sandra Pina and Anabela Malaranha, in the Flute discipline, and with conductor Jean-Marc Burfin, integrated in the Metropolitan Academic Orchestra. He participated in masterclasses with the most prestigious flutists, such as Vicenz Pratz, Magdalena Martinez, Patrick Gallois, Herbert Weissberg and Rien de Reed, among others.
She was awarded in several competitions, highlighting the Young Musicians Award, in the Flute and Chamber Music category, Portuguese Musical Youth, Music Forum Award and the Estoril Interpretation Competition. He was part of several youth orchestras, such as the Portuguese Youth Orchestra, the Private Schools Orchestra, the Templar Wind Orchestra and the International Youth Orchestra.
He performed as a soloist with the Orquestra Académica Metropolitana and the Orquestra Clássica do Porto. He frequently performs recitals, with various chamber formations, interpreting repertoires of various styles, from baroque music to contemporary music.
He currently occupies the place of Soloist B at the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa and, at the same time, teaches at the Metropolitana Conservatory of Music and at the Superior National Academy of Orchestra.
