Orchestra Section

Born in Italy, he graduated from the State Conservatory and completed his studies with Maestro F. Petracchi at the Geneva Conservatory.

Between 1992 and 1994 he was a member of the Portuguese Symphonic Orchestra. Since 1994, he has been a bass player in the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa.

At the same time, he has always collaborated as a bassist Chief de Naipe with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liverpool (England), the Symphonic Orchestra of (Denmark) and the Galicia Symphony Orchestra (Spain).

Very active in the field of chamber music, he was also invited several times to act as a soloist in front of an orchestra. Among these occasions, we highlight the performance of Nino Rota’s ‘Divertimento concertante’, with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra conducted by David Epstein, and the world premiere of the concert by Emil Tabakov, directed by the composer himself.

He released his first CD as a soloist in 2009.
